Fun in the Park
Yesterday we went to a great event in Wilsonville called Fun in the Park. I had to work at it as Costa Pacific had a booth set up. We worked a ride called the Twin Spin Thrill Ride. It is one of the most popular rides at the event. The line was around 20-30 minutes all day long. The kids are already looking forward to it next year.
The Oregon Coast
A week after moving Yaya and Papa decided to rent a house on the beach at the Oregon coast. It was a ton of fun! The kids had a ball playing on the beach even though the water was freezing and the could only get their feet wet. A couple of times as they were running in and out of the waves they fell face first into the water. They had quite the look of shock pasted on their faces. It was classic. Someday we will take them to a beach where you can swim in the ocean. Maybe next year. One of the greatest things about the trip was that the kids had such a great time re0connecting with their cousins, Emma and Gracie. They all played together really well and had so much fun.

The Move to Portland
These posts are a little bit old because I was having problems adding pictures. Just a disclaimer if you were wondering.
We have been in Portland, or better known as P-Town for the past three weeks. I think that everyone adjusted really well. Connor is eager to meet new friends and start having play dates and the parks in our neighborhood are filled with kids and their parents every day.
We actually live in a small city of 16,000 20 minutes outside of downtown Portland called Wilsonville.

It is a great family oriented community and one of the main reasons that we were excited to make the move.
I think that my brain has already decided to suppress the moving memories. Moving long distance is not fun and I hope that it does not happen again for a long, long time. Here is how it went down.
Met the movers on a Thursday morning at 8am and filled a 26 ft u-haul until 8pm
Woke up at 6am Friday and rented a second 14 ft u-haul. Met the movers at 8am.
I was on the road to Portland by 9am while Katie stayed with the movers.
I averaged 50 mph and was a ball of stress for the whole drive. I do not recommend driving a 26 ft u-haul that weighs 12,000 pounds 420 miles. Not fun! It took me a couple of days to get over it.
On Saturday I met the movers at the new house and unpacked all day long. I picked Katie and the kids up at the airport that evening.
Sunday we continued to unpack the house and are still organizing to the day.
Although this was not fun and a ton of work we could not have done it without the help from our family. So a very warm thank you to Yaya and Papa Rudy, Vovo and Papa (Papa drove the second u-haul from Boise), Aunt Katie and Papa Ron (drove out car from Boise to Portland).
