We went for a walk around the neighborhood and went to the park today. Katie was really having a lot of fun taking pictures of her and Charlie.

Katie did Ruby's hair like Princess Leah today. She looks realy cute and as you can also tell they are ready for Bronco Gameday. With a win today they will have yet another undefeated season.

Smack down on the Vandals in the kibble and bits dome

It was a good weekend for the Greens. Rivalry weekend is officially past us and the Broncos won their 10th in a row against the vandals. It really wasn't much of a game (as expected). The Broncos should have scored 60 and should have held the other guys to 3. But it is what it is and the the final score was 45-10. I'll take that. To any vandals that might read this keep you head up there is always next year. Oh yeah, the kids were excited too!

100 Baskets and counting.... Hoopathon 2008

Connor had a hoopathon this afternoon. He made just over 100 baskets. Maybe it's a sign of things to come. I hope that those of you that decided to contribute to the good cause had kept in mind what a great little basketball player he is.

Halloween Party at Yaya and Papa's House

BOO! YaYa and Papa Rudy threw a Halloween bash!

Cousin Emma and Gracie were a pretty little princess and fairy. Connor is Dracula and Ms. Ruby wanted to be a cockroach but she picked a spider, or tarantula as she would call it.

Searching for the perfect pumpkin

Katie and the kids went to a local farm and picked out their pumpkins this afternoon. They are looking forward to Halloween. Ruby is going to be a tarantula and Connor will be Count Dracula or as he likes to say "Counting" Dracula. Charlie decided that he wants to be a pumpkin.

Bunk Bed

Oh the quirks of childhood. Connor and Ruby share a bedroom. Connor has the top bunk Ruby the bottom. We picked up a fun bed from Ikea and the kids are in heaven. Connor though has taken his bed to a new level. His is the "boys only" clubhouse. It is full of his toys which are picked for no specific reason. The toys have the honor of sleeping with him each night until he realizes that things become a little to crowded. Also in the picture above notice the black blanket off to the right. It is neatly folded and only till just recently have we talked him into unfolding it so he can use it for the purpose of staying warm at night. To top it off every morning we hear his little voice call from the top bunk, "Could you please come fold my blanket"? I send Andy even though I must admit this need to have things tidy just may have come from me.
